hey everyone,
New bride to be here! We need help! What are some good venues in the Charlotte area? We are looking for a rustic vibe?! help!!

How many people does it need to accommodate?  What's your budget? What do you mean by "rustic"? Are you thinking a barn? Outdoor? An old loft building? Give us a little more to work with.

Approx. 150-200 guests, rustic to us means a barn, old inn, loft etc. type setting, not ur typical country club venue...where we can have an outdoor ceremony on the site then the reception follow after. not sure on budget... But we are planning on keeping costs down as much as possible....

oh man, i had some friends get married at that tiny little chapel off of n kings (i think called st mary's) but it'd be too small for 200 people...

but their reception was held in this old warehouse type building, i'll have to look up the address.  it was near uptown (i think), and there were exposed brick walls on the inside, and a little courtyard outside, it was really cool, i liked it a lot, plus they had a trolly transport people from the ceremony to the reception, it was cute   the building didn't have that ballroom type feel like i think you're trying to avoid.  i'll look it up and post more info when i can find it.

ok, it's actually in south end.  it's call Byron's now.  i think it used to be the old spaghetti warehouse.  it's changed some since i was there for my friend's wedding, but you can look at pictures on their website
