Candy Buffet Chicas

On average how much did you spend on candy and what kind of candy was it?I am the type of person who goes way over board when it comes to food especially for other people.  I went on to candywarehouse.com to do a mock order and it came to $800 and that was minus a discount.  I'm just wondering how close that is to what other people spent thanks!

We spent around that.  It wasn't even that we had a huge quantity, it was just that I got a little obsessed and WAY overthought it.  I wanted very specific things in very specific colors... I tried to get candies that are generally harder to find rather than going for things that I could buy any day in a vending machine.

I guess I am in the same boat, I would rather have chocolates, truffles etc rather than a bunch of sugary candy.  I guess that makes up the cost difference.

We made our own, so it was way less than that.  I'd say half that, maybe even less.

We spent about $350 for candy and got it all from BJ's. We got a variety of sugary and chocolate candy.

I spent about $300 on candy. Some from Costco and some of metrocandy.com. I found that chocolates and current "popular" candy (like Snickers, M&Ms, etc.) were more expensive vs. things like red raspberry dollars, licorice, etc.

I probably spent about $400 on candy (from candywarehouse and economycandy.com) - I didn't buy a lot of chocolate so it was cheaper but I wish I had bought more b/c most of it went. I had about 80 pounds but people loved it and went crazy.
