My best friend gave us all jewelery to wear the day of, and also made us a scrapbook page which she framed with different pictures of her and that BM.

When I asked my girls to be my BMs I gave them a shutterfly album of us throughout the years of our friendship - which I thought was really cool and would think was great if I got one as a gift. I'm doing a box of things for my girls - a custom wine glass, a bunch of lip glosses, a make up bag and some other things.

Monogrammed locket from Tiffany's. Most of the stuff I've gotten has been worthless.

Amethyst necklace.  The bride had them made by her jeweler and they were beautiful!  I have been a BM in 3 weddings, got necklaces for 2 of them (liked them both) and a coach clutch with flip flops and soething else in the other, but I am not a clutch person, so I have only used it like once.

getting them all different stuff isn't bad ... it just can be hard (like if you can't find something great for one or two of them)

My friend gave me a nice silver necklace from Tiffanys.  It was an everyday necklace not one for the wedding only.

Oh, and my sister gave us all the Tiffany's silver graduated bead bracelet.  That was another good one, because we didn't have to wear it at the wedding, and it is a good everyday bracelet.Any Bath & Body Works stuff, sparkly wedding day jewelry, random bridesmaid totes and wedding dress-shaped notepads and such that I've received through the years have gone straight to Goodwill.A lot of girls get Coach wristlets, which are defintiely not my style but a lot of people seem to like.

Pearl necklace with a pearl bracelet in a beautiful wooden jewelry box.  I use the jewelry box for all of my gold, silver, precious stone jewelry.

my sister bought us these awesome luggage bags.  i am over coach wristlets, wraps, etc.  she also got us these unique hand-made etsy necklaces, each was different to fit our personalities, etc.  that is how you do it!  i gave my girls a bag filled with individualized goodies, including bottles of wine, jewlery, etc.

my absolute best was when i was MOH in my sis in law's wedding- she paid for our dresses!!! 2nd best was when my friend paid for our hair/makeup for day of - i returned the favor and did the same for my wedding.all my girls wanted to look their best and i knew it would be an extra $100+ so i did that for them...i also got them all "green friendly" canvas bags w/ silver flip flops for the receptionfor 1 girl who did her own hair/makeup - i got her jewelry to wear and a coach wristlet that she's always hinted that she wanted

Im getting them necklaces to wear day of and my newest idea is a 3 or 6 month wine club subscription depending on price. If I do that FI will give the guys cuff links or flasks and a beer of the month subscription.

I haven't really gotten anything I liked. Everything is always specific to the wedding day. I did get a necklace from my cousin that I sometimes wear. I would get them something that they can use after the wedding. I am paying for my girls' hair and makeup and something else (but I can't say bc one of my BM's sometimes comes on here).

I paid for their hair though I didn't really count that as their *gift*I got them LL Bean totes (not monogrammed or anything) filled with flip flops, parasol, small liquor bottles (in case they after partied! LOL) and the main gift was Akoya Pearl Earrings that they didn't have to wear.

I have only been in 2 weddings and I was younger so I don't even remember - I think it was worthless day of jewelry or w/e I agree though that the personalized gifts are the way to go - I got each of my girls a boutique box (each one different) and filled it with different goodies, mini bottles of champagne, little pre made shots in the wedding colors, a cocktail ring hand made from Etsy, the typical bm tank and flip flops, each a gift cert to a place they frequent - barnes & nobles, aldo, one girl is obsessed with ruby tuesdays, etc. and then I put something "inside joke" related to each girl - e.g. I went to a wedding with one of the girls and the chick who caught the bouquet wasn't wearing panties, which was obv to everyone when the garter was being put on...so I bought a pair of panties and put in the box as a ha haha don't forget these The girls loved 'em bc it was personalize. I also am in the process of putting together a picture slideshow customized for each girl with pics of us as friends and then pics from the wedding - on disk w/ music
