We went out to dinner with our priest tonight after class and ask him if he'd do us the honor of marrying us (we're marrying in FH's home parish, but are close with the priest who ran Catholic Campus Ministry at our college, where we attended mass for four years) ... and he said he'd be so happy to be a part of our day! So happy!!
So now tomorrow we can call the parish office and "officially" book our wedding ... we were pencilled in, but the parish wanted us to confirm with our priest that he was marrying us and to discuss if we'd be doing pre-cana with him or in the parish where we're marrying. Such a big check!! So relieved to have this all settled and done ... no matter what, now, we have the essentials booked and taken care of!
