Has anyone ever attended at wedding at Battleground Country Club in Manalapan, NJ?  Just wanted some feedback on your experience..

I went to a reception there about four or five years ago, and I really don't remember much about it. The food was OK, I guess - I would have definitely remembered if it was excellent or terrible! What I remember most is that I brought an appletini to my table, and the waiter kept bringing me appletinis all night.

My mom lives near there and said she's gone to a few functions there... She said the food was very good and that it had been recently renovated. My junior prom was there a long, LONG time ago! Lol

It is a REALLY nice place to get married.  If it's a nice day they have the beautiful outdoor gazebo, but if not it's still VERY nice in the clubhouse.  The food and service is great, they are very attentive and not a "mill."  Hope this helps.

I recently attended a gala event there and the food was delicious and the room looked beautiful.  It was still light out during the cocktail hour so we could see the view over the golf course, really pretty.  Definitely a beautiful venue.  Good luck!
