5th Ave Photog. (RAVE)/ J. Paul (RANT)

SAD NOTE-

So, if you have been reading my posts lately thank you. I went to J. Paul Studios in E. Brunswick to meet with the owner and see the replacements work. UGH. I was soooooo sad. Nothing WOWed me. I felt like I could have taken some, well most, of the shots with my cannon rebel. I know what I need to do. I need a new photographer. At least I met with the company, said my peace. They are just not a good fit for me :(

HAPPY NOTE-
I am meeting with Erin from Fifth Avenue Photography, the one who shot out e-pics, on Sunday morning. I am SOOOO excited. I know she is going to be perfect and affordable. Affordable is a big key right now because we are loosing our deposit on the J. Paul.

Thanks for all your support during this slight glitch in our planning!

Thats awesome news...I think losing a few dollars now can never replace how you'll feel looking t the pictures you absolutely love. Just out of curiousity, why didn't you go with Erin in the first place?

We had booked J. Paul in January of 2009. We only met Erin in Spring of 2010. When we got engaged, we had her shoot our engagement pictures and she was a perfect fit for us! I know this will be a blessing in disguise! She is coming at 10am to talk about the wedding.

Glad it worked out.... pics are such an important aspect of the wedding ~ unless you get video, its the only component that lasts well beyond the actual day, so it needs to be something you LOVE. Best of luck!

We just booked with Erin! I am so excited, esp. knowing how well we worked with her for our engagement shoot!

We are going to be 700$ ahead of the game from the original photographer. We got a full package with Erin, lost 1,572$ in a deposit and are still saving money.

Such a blessing! I am so relieved!

Thanks SO much to everyone for hearing me out during this dilemma.
