Help - Centerpieces

Just starting to make appointments with potential florists and we’re trying to get an idea of how we want our centerpieces to be.  In visiting different venues, I remember seeing one type of centerpiece being set up that just blew us away.  Essentially, it was like a little tree (not the branches, but like an actual tree trunk), that had flowers winding up it’s base.  I can’t remember the top part exactly (I think it was still flowers and the tree), but I remember thinking it was gorgeous.  I’ve tried doing web searches but haven’t been able to come up with anything.  Has anyone seen this type of centerpiece before?  Does it have a name?    Any pics you could share?

  • It may have been a Manzanita tree :o) This is a picture of one below that I love. Its not the actual tree but moreso the branches intertwined to appear as one with blooms covering them.
If you ask the florists during your consults, they can def. steer you in the best direction!
    Best wishes!!!

  • Beautiful!!  That is definitely similar to what I was thinking. It was a little smaller though and I think the base part twisted a bit and had flowers wrapped all around. My favorite part was that as you walked through the room it felt like you were walking through a forest.  I'm sure it is going to be out of our budget, but it never hurts to ask.  Thanks again!!!
  • AW Flowers can do a version of that at a really good price. It might be worth interviewing them as well to get some pricing options :)
