Good place for Rehearsal Dinner in/near New Brunswick?

Hi there!

I am looking for ideas to let my FMIL know of some good places to have the rehearsal dinner.  We are having the actual rehearsal at Kirkpatrick Chapel so anywhere nearby would be great.  Thanks!

Ha I live in South River!  And my fiance's parents live about 1/2 block from there.  Its great but I think we have been there too many times lol!  What a coincidence!

i havent been to NB in SO long, since i moved to California.
but there is a place called Evelyns - i hope its still there!  but its super cute...i think you can have private parties there.  plus, they have a back area with outside seating and a bar.

also, what about Pithari in Highland Park?  the food there is BOMB!

I've been to Vincenzo's for a work dinner and I also have to say it was very good. We had a large group and everyone really enjoyed their food and the service was good too.

We had ours at Arthur's on Georges Rd in North Brunswick. They have good food and it is reasonably priced. The atmosphere, when I ate there the first time, was a little casual for my liking but the wedding was formal it was nice to kick back and relax before the stress of the big day.

I will also say Vincenzo's or Ciao Bello...they are both really good!

I've been to Old Bay and Frog & Peach for different rehearsal dinners. They were both great.

We had our wedding there and Rui was a pleasure to work with. Plus there food and sangria are great! I'm forever recommending them when someone mentions that area.
