Ocean County Bridal Shower Locations

Hi there!

I am looking for a location to host my bridal shower this July in the Ocean County area. It is going to be anywhere from 20-35 people. I am running in to trouble because many of the places that I have looked at require a 30 person minimum (otherwise they charge a room fee of a couple hundred dollars) or they can only accomodate 25 or so people. I am just not sure who is going to be coming as many people are out-of-towners.

Any suggestions for locations???

I'm not sure where in Ocean County you are, but my shower was at Pino's La Forchetta in Englishtown on Route 9. There was no minimum headcount, but with tax it was around $50 per person. Everything was amazing there, people are still talking about the food.

The only thing is that you are not supposed to host your own shower, so you really shouldn't be looking for places yourself. Your mom or your bridal party should be handling this for you. People don't throw showers for themselves; it's tacky and wrong to ask people to come to a party for yourself where they have to bring a gift.

My mom, aunt, and maid of honor are throwing the shower,  I'm just helping find a location because they are busy!!
