I did my trials about 9-11 months out and booked once I completed my trials and found someone I was comfortable with.

I had both my hair and makeup trial the same day-about 6 months before my wedding. I wanted to make sure the people I wanted to use were available.

I did makeup around 5 months out. I'm a bit under 4 months out now and still haven't gotten a hair trial yet. Don't panic, you have a ton of time.

I did mine probably like 3 months out too....I actually booked the hair stylist prior to having my trial.  I wanted something simple and knew anyone could pretty much do it.  I didn't even have a trial for my makeup. I winged it.

I think you have a ton of time don't worry. I visited my hair/makeup place like 8 mths out and have it scheduled for 3 mths prior to the wedding. I think like 9mths out is too far, because what if your tastes change in that time?

I did makeup about 6 months in advance.  I put a deposit down with Michelle Lo Conte about a year in advance, but didn't go for my hair trial until about 2 months in advance.
