Unique Wedding Venue Needed

Hello Everyone,
I'm a new knottie and very very excited! I just started doing some research about wedding venues and I am having a hard time finding what I am looking for.
Im looking for Fall 2012, and I would love a venue in northern/central NJ or just over the border of PA that is rustic and outdoorsy for the Fall, but NOT country, more elegant. Something that has the same amenities as a hotel/ballroom but more unique. I love the look of Stone House, but it is way too expensive for what you get. I am looking to spend less than $100pp but that is flexible and I could easily do over if it included tax/tip. Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
J

For 100pp you are going to want to look into Fridays and Sundays or Saturday afternoons in the fall.  That is peak season.  Other than that I don't really have any suggestions for you, maybe Perona Farms??

Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking which is why I am primarily looking at Friday evening pricing at venues to stay on budget : )

It might not be the exact style you're looking for, but it's on the NJ/PA border and should be in your price range... Lambertville Station: http://www.lambertvillestation.com/default.aspx?pg=weddings&rp=home

The only other place I could think of was one of the wedding venues associated with Crystal Springs, but I think all of the lodges/venues are way over your price range: http://www.crystalgolfresort.com/Content/Article.aspx?SID=17&CID=11&AID=492

Stroudsmoor in Stroudsburg, PA, it's literally 10 minutes over rt. 80 into PA.

I was also thinking Perona or Stroudmoor.  Also, maybe Farmstead in Andover?  Rustic and country, but less hotel/ballroom like.

Farmstead is rustic but it might fit your needs.

    The Lambertville Inn might work.

Several years ago I was somebody's date to a wedding just past New Hope PA in an old stone farm house.  I never knew the name, sorry.

You may also want to try the Inn in Newtown PA.  They have a great brunch.
