Picture Location around Ho-Ho-Kus

Hey girls,
I'm getting married in August at a church in Ho-Ho-Kus at 3:00 (ceremony only - not a full mass). Our reception is at Seasons in Washington Twp  - cocktail hour starts at 5:30.
I was wondering if anyone familiar with this area has any suggestions for where to take our pictures outside between the ceremony and cocktail hour.
I will be asking my photographer for suggestions, but just in case he/she is not from the area, I thought I'd throw it out here first.
Thanks, as always

We took all of our photos on Main Street in Ridgewood. We were able to get some with the old buildings and the arcitecture (a little urban) and some in the park on the steps and near the trees there.

    Great idea! Thanks!

This may be a stupid question, but did you need a permit for that?

I grew up in the area.  You could also get some cute pictures walking through town in HHK. I bet that would make for some really nice black and white photos. It's smaller than Ridgewood--but just as quaint IMO.

There's The Hermitage in HoHoKus (or Waldwick) I think. Right there. The grounds over there might be pretty for pictures and it's probably just a 2-3 minute drive from your church. There's pretty trees over there and quite a bit of property--You'd have to call and ask, though.

Ramapo Reservation in Mahwah is also beautiful--but I'm not sure how you would do pictures as it is a bit of a hike (literally) to some of the more scenic areas!!

Great idea! I actually interned at The Hermitage, and it is literally right across the street from the church. I grew up in the area too, so I don't know why it's so hard for me to figure this out :)
