The Merion

I posted on the South Jersey board hoping to get some feedback on The Merion, but figured I'd post on here as well. I went to see it today and LOVED it. I was originally looking at places in North Jersey but the places I really liked were out of our price range. The Merion was exactly what we were looking for. My only concern is since they can do 4 weddings at a time, can you hear music from the other rooms?? That is a big concern and makes me a little hesitant. We are looking at the Empire Room or the Palazzo Room (I prefer the Palazzo). Any feedback would be great as we want to make a decision by the weekend!! Thanks so much!

I haven't been there for any weddings but that is where my august wedding is.  I have the Palazzo room!!! I have heard nothing but good things about that place.  I know of people that have attended weddings there and they had no complaints.   Make sure to negotiate.  I got rid of some of the desserts and saved alot of money.  They actually ended up adding them back into my package because I signed before the end of the month. Good luck with things!

Just attended misschristine's wedding there this past Saturday night!

It was beautiful! (The food was delicious too!)

I think there were only 2 weddings going on, but I could be wrong. We didn't even know there was a 2nd wedding until we were told by the staff not to accidentally go into the other one.

I went to a wedding there in November and everything was great, It was in the upstairs room with the dome ceiling. There were other weddings going on at the time. I never heard their music and ran into them only when leaving and waiting for the valet.
