Spanish Speakers: Invite wording help needed... pretty please...

I just posted my invite wording in English, but I'm doing bilingual invites, so I need help making sure it makes sense in Spanish.

I know that there are different formality and etiquette rules in Spanish and English, but FI and I just want as direct a translation as possible.  Also, as I mentioned in my other post for the English invite, please ignore all capitalization mistakes (the real invite will be in small caps, so in order to make this one easier to read I just capitalized the first letter of each line).

Any suggestions and advice would be great (especially regarding wording).

PS - I would love for the year to be on its own line, but due to space limitations it has to be on the same line as the rest of the date.

    If you have a direct translation it might not make sense grammatically.

    Hey Peaches!

    I actually just showed my father who is from Ecuador your English and Spanish  invite and this is how he says it should be worded.

    “Este día que me caso mi mejor amigo

    Con quien sonrío, y por el yo vivo, al que yo amo”

     

    Juntos con nuestros padres,

    Bride’s Name

    y

    Groom’s Name

    Los invitamos a que se junten a la celebración de nuestra boda.

    El Domingo, diecisiete de Julio, dos mil once

    A las 15:30 de la tarde

     

    The Manor

    111 Prospect Avenue ● West Orange, NJ

    Well, not quite THAT direct, haha.  I believe it makes sense grammatically right now... FI looked at it really fast, but after the whole magneto vs. iman Spanglish issue, he's not on my "person to trust with writing" list.  :-)

    Oops, wait a second... your dad changed it all to first person... I was hoping to keep it in third person... as in: "Together with THEIR parents..." not "Together with OUR parents..."

    He says in Spanish when you "with their parents" as in meaning you're saying together with all the parents you would use "Nuestras" not "Sus". Because "sus" would mean together with HIS parents. If that makes sense

    No Prob! It's confusing I know, that's why I always have him and my mom (whose from PR) check my Spanish. I still get all me tenses mixed up because there are so many rules! Let me know if you need any other help with anything! Smile
