my wedding album is in!

but....it was delivered to me at work....and i promised mh i wouldn't look at it without him!
its driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
our photog emailed me on sunday saying that our album and the 2 parent albums were ready! and i asked that he not mail it to me at home since the weather looked sketchy all week, and we don't have an awning, and our mail gets delivered at like, noon and we don't get home until 530...so i asked if he would send them to me at work...
i wasn't feeling well, so i didn't go to work yesterday....so of course, that's when they were delivered! and from the sound of it from our receptionist, i think it was our photog that dropped them off!
so now they're sitting in my boss' office out of sight so i'm not tempted to open it....but it's killing me!
he didn't do a digital online proof type one, so i have no idea how the layout is or how it looks....
i texted mh when i got to work, i'm hoping to hear back from him soon so i can tempt him to lunch so we can look at it!

    Did it really take 9 months to do...? Is that the norm...?

    our photog was schroder photography....
    it didn't really take 9 months....our proofs and cd and such didn't come in until mid november or so....and then we probably didn't pick out our pictures and send in the order until february some time....he had other albums to work on as well obv from other weddings....he finally got to to submit them to print around may or so, first though we had to clear away what was printed on the outside of the albums....then the end of june both parent albums were in, but one of them the cover was wrong....
    so he just waited until all 3 albums were all done...
    so where as the whole process took 9 months from wedding to recieving the pictures, it didn't really take that long...we just took forever deciding on our pictures....

    yay! it was worth the wait!
    our album came out so good! the layouts are great, and there was no cheesy editing or edging or what not (i had no idea what he would do regarding layouts and edits etc)
    we're so happy with everything!
    i would definitely recommend schroder photography to anyone...his prices were very reasonable and he took a lot of great pictures....
