Rehearsal Dinner Locations near the Hampton Inn in Fairfield

The rehearsal dinner has been a pretty controversial topic for my fiance's brothers and it seems that it will be the same with me(sadly). That aside...can anyone suggest a good place to have between 25-40 people for dinner near the hotel?

I work near that area. To be honest you have many options. There is a restaurant right near the hotel names Calandras, I've never ate there so not sure if its good.

Right in Caldwell there is Calandra's village also. I believe there is also a Calandra's restuarant somewhere by the hotel. The village has a few areas to eat in from outside/ bar/ restaurant. http://calandrasitalianvillage.com/

We had our rehearsal dinner at Hollywood Pizzeria, it's down Fairfield Road, not far from the hotel. They have a private room upstairs, including private bathrooms. We had around 30 people, there was more than enough room, I'm sure it could easily fit at least 10 more.

i've eaten at both calandras, the one on 46 and the village in caldwell. excellent food at both. not sure if there is a room at the one on 46 but pretty sure you can secure a space at one of the restuarants in the village

About 5 minutes down the road... Bahama Breeze in Wayne.  That's where we're having our rehearsal dinner.

you can have your rehearsal right in the hotel!!!

But Calandras is awesome as well!! If you go up 23 a little ways Mirandas restraurant is where we are having our rehearsal dinner and we are staying at hamptonn inn as well

We had ours in little falls (not a far drive and we all stayed at hte hampton) at a place called Belle Notte.  Great place we had the whole upstairs....

Merchant House Tavern is where we are having ours. That is in Fairfield.

We are staying in the Hampton Inn as well. 
I would definitely recommend having the rehearsal in the hotel. My brother had his rehearsal dinner there, and they section off part of the room for your party.

I also second Merchant House Tavern, I have been to a rehearsal there as well, and they have a separate room where you can have your party and it is beautiful.

Both have excellent food.
