Affordable venues near Asheville?

Does anyone know of any affordable venues near Asheville? I'm planning on a Feb. wedding, so outdoor venues are out, and I can't seem to find anything else that is reasonably priced for a small wedding (50 or less guests).  Any ideas/ suggestions? I'm looking at a very tight $5,000 budget for ceremony AND reception. (Also, we are planning on a Sunday lunch or maybe tea reception, so that should help cut costs.)

    Have you tried churchs in the area?
    There are so many lovely places in Asheville but they are so expensive!
    Try different internet searches for the asheville area.  Also, keep an eye out for upcomming bridal shows...they will help you a lot!

    Thank you! There are a lot of beautiful churches around, but as neither of us are at all religious, it doesn't feel right to get married in a church. I never thought of Asheville as being that expensive until I started looking around!
     I have a cousin who is getting married at the Biltmore House in October and I don't even want to iknow how much it's going to cost!

    Yes, I have, but thank you!! :) I was just wondering if anyone knew of any other, not-so-common places around that I had missed. I am thinking I need to cast a wider net, though. We are also looking in GA; we have some family down there, and I used to live in Raleigh so I might try looking around there as well.
