Chelsea Hotel in AC

Has anyone ever been to the Chelsea hotel in AC?  We are considering staying there for a friend's bachelorette party but I have been hearing mixed reviews.  What are some opinions on the rooms, pool, night club, restaurants?

    i booked my bachelorette party there for aug 19th.. i have only heard really good reviews about it! i am totally excited.. i havent been there but friends of mine have been and said the club there at night was alot of fun you can get pitchers of all kinds of frozen drinks and the music is great!

    sorry i couldnt be more helpful but we got a really great price for the rooms i believe its about $300 including tax for a room with two queen beds in the summer for ac we thought that was pretty good

    We were there last August for a bachelorette party, and it was... okay. Nothing spectacular, and the club was cool but kind of slow; everyone we met there was talking about other places to go the next night. We were in the annex.

    My parents happened to have booked a room there the weekend after us, and they not only got a better price (I believe they used priceline) but they were in a tower room and absolutely LOVED it.

    I was a little bitter that I shared a room with 6 other girls and my share was equal to the total of what my parents paid. 

    My suggestion is always: if you or ANYONE in your group has a player's card, see what deals you can get. AC Rooms, even on summer weekends, can be comped or greatly reduced with a few points.

    Haven't been there for a bachelorette, but I was there in May for a weekend get-away.  DO NOT STAY IN THE ANNEX....it is GROSS!!! The hotel was the old Howard Johnson and motel or something like that.  They renovated the tower and it is gorgeous, but the annex is an old motel they basically painted.  Seriously, its not worth the cheaper price...anyway the hotel is cute and modern/retro and food at Chelsea Prime was awesome.  The club was good too.  Its a bit off the beaten path and the closest casino is Tropicana.  If you're there with your girls, it will be a blast no matter where you go!

    i went there a few weekends ago w a bunch of my freinds!  its really fun and has a classier vibe then the other hotels. also, nto sure if you know but it does not have a casino. so if youre BM's want to gamble.. that may nto be the best hotelt o stay in.. just keep that in mind.   the rooftop deck is fun during the day, but not as "clubby" as at night. so depends where you want to go out at night. if you want a clubby place, i'd say go somewhere else... if not, the roofdeck there is perfect.  but its a really nice hotel!
