What is affordable? Someone that is going to come to your house on your wedding day will be well over $100 easily. I used Sally Duvall, and she did amazing work but she wasnt cheap, but it was my wedding day. If you want cheap, go to the mall that day. I will tell you it was wonderful having hair and makeup come to my house that day.  http://sallyduvall.com/

Things don't have to cost a fortune to be good quality!
My cousin got married in October and she always wears Bare Minerals makeup so she went to the store in the mall and asked the woman who was doing makeup if she would do a trial for her in the store and if she made off-site visits. She got a free trial (it was in the mall though) and the woman who came out did a beautiful job for 1/2 the price she was being quoted by a lot of people.

If you like MAC go to the counter/store and ask...worst they can do is say no!

Since you are the border of nj/ny maybe look into ny makeup artist they may be cheaper.  I used christine with color makeup.  She was $110 for airbrush and eylashes.

Even look into orange county ny makeup artist they are usually more reasonable and they travel.

The point of the board is for people to ask questions, why do you  always point out that the question has been asked many times before. It's a popular question, who cares.

I am pointing out that we have a vendor site that people can look at, which is a lot easier than people answering the same question every single day. That is the whole point of the vendor site.

It is always either "florist, limo, photographer, makeup artist". A simple 2 second search, or going through the first 2 or 3 pages of our board will give someone the same suggestions. Many times people don't read down, and just post their question without checking the board for their answer first. It just clogs up the first page if the same questions are always being asked. I was being helpful.

I am using Jillyan Scarpa.  She uses MAC and does amazing work!  I actually had a trial with Christine.  She was very nice but I thought her makeup was a little on the heavy side.   I like more of a natural look that Jillyan was able to nail for me.

I used Gianna Giacona and she was fabulous!  She was very affordable for both traditional and airbrush makeup.  She came to my house for my trial and came to the salon that we got ready at on the day of.  I loved her and the moms and bridemaids loved her as well!
