House rental w/ backyard wedding?

My FI and I are so picky and have not been able to find one place we love.  A friend of ours recently rented a mansion in Florida and held her wedding there, and I thought it was a great idea- but can not figure out how to find a mansion rental in NJ that is nice/big enough for the wedding. 

Has anyone done this or have any suggestions?

I don't know how close to Morristown you live or if you'd be interested but I know that the Morris Museum is an old mansion converted into a museum does weddings. I don't know all that much about how they run their weddings but I know they do host weddings and have ample space to do so. They've halls and an outdoor space, and from the outside still look like a mansion. It's actually my fiance and I's plan B haha

How many guests are you planning for and how much are you looking to spend?

We looked at Oakeside Mansion in Bloomfield.  I loved it, but it wasn't right for our needs.  They hold cocktail hour inside the mansion, and dinner/dancing in a tent in the backyard.

<div>It's really cool! I didn't know they did weddings either until I started planning my own! I went there many times in my youth and it's a really gorgeous place. I would almost hope our plan A doesn't quite work so we can have our wedding there but I think it's going to be out of our budget haha oh well</div>

I'm under the impression you can do this at the NJ Botanical Gardens, but I really don't know anything about it personally.

Try the Bretton Manor? or Bretton Woods? Something like that
