Under garments..

Hey ladies! So I'm going INSANE trying to find something to wear under my wedding dress. I've been to Fredericks of Hollywood, Victoria's secret, Macy's and everywhere else you can think of. Do you ladies have any recommendations?

I went to Bra Savvy in Matawan

You might want to try the dress without a bra first. I found that the dress looked better with just cups sewn in.

Depending on where in North NJ you are, she may be a bit of a haul, but well worth the trip.  This is were my sister got her stuff.

I had success with Lingerie by Susan in Edison.  They were wonderful and made me comfortable and secure on our wedding day.

I havent even thought of this yet, since I dont have a whole lot going on on top haha. But, with a strapless gown, what are your options- cups shown in or corset bra? What about underwear- can you just wear your regular ones? Sorry Im clueless w/ this stuff :)

The only thing I wore under my dress is underwear (white ones from VS that said Sexy Little Bride). My dress was a corset back and I had cups sewn in.

I got mine at Nordstrom at Menlo Park.  The lady was very nice and helpful.  She spent a good 45 mins helping me find the right one.

That, or a strapless bra.  I wore a strapless bra.

And yes, with my dress I could wear regular underwear -- I wore Hanky Panky boyshorts.  If the bottom of your dress is form-fitting or not that thick you may have to wear something special, but with many wedding dresses you could wear Scooby Doo underoos underneath and your guests would never know.

    lol....I thought about Scooby Doo ones.....but DH isn't a big fan...jk...lol
My dress was pretty thick, so you couldn't see anything underneath.

I second Ridgewood Corset Shop.  But I would opt for Fredericks of Hollywood for the honeymoon stuff!  Also you can find some good lingerie vendors on line.  I found this vendor Naughty Lingerie (have to laugh at the name!!) on weddingblisslane.com.  She has some pretty things.
