looking for ocean/monmouth florist recommendation

I have been searching the NJ boards for florist recommendations, but it seems like mostly Northern NJ florists are discussed. I am looking for one in Ocean or Monmouth county. Just to throw a couple of names out there that I have run into at bridal shows, has anyone had good experiences with :
Petal Beach (W Long Branch), Narcissus or Flowers by Addalia ( both Toms River), Marquis (Matawn), Something Nice or Purple Iris (both Point Pleas)
Any other suggestions would be appreciated! I am not really sure where to start. Thank you so much!

I used Something Nice and loved working with Carol!  Her work was beautiful and her prices were definitely the best.  She gave great suggestions and listened to me and didn't push me into something I didn't want.  Definitely meet with her!!!

I loved loved loved Bonnie at Petal Beach, but she had a $2500 minimum and since I wasn't doing centerpieces I wasn't going to meet her minimum.  Her work is truly spectacular, but pricey.

I met with Flowers by Addalia, but I hated Jerome who I met with.  He was so arrogant and wouldn't listen to me when I told him what I wanted and where I wanted to be with my budget.  I was very specific that I didn't want to do much for the ceremony b/c we were already going to be in a very scenic area that didn't need a lot of flowers, and he went off on me about how we needed to create "a moment to capture in photos."  And he refused to show me samples of his work because "they were for other brides and I want to do something unique for you," which wasn't helpful and involved me putting a lot of trust in him, which I did not.

I also use a local florist a lot near me in Belmar called The Sparrows Nest.  She doesn't specialize in weddings like some of the others you listed above, but she's done bouquets and centerpieces for weddings that you can check on her website.  I had her do some bouquets for me for an event, and they were beautiful and got tons of compliments.

  • Wallflowers in Spring Lake, NJ is fantastic!
  • I used Wildflowers in Wall. They were amazing. They worked right within my budget (actually under my budget) and my flowers were better than I ever expected! I ended up sending my bouquet off to be preserved the day after the wedding because of how much I loved it. Something I never thought I'd want to do!
