Gift Wrapping Services for Favors

Does anyone know where to get your favors wrapped? We bought our favors but now we need to get them wrapped. The place we bought them from does not provide this. I found once place in Elmwood Park Lydia's Italian Imports but they charged me $3.50 for each favor which is crazy!
We are probably going to have to wrap them ourselves which isnt that big of a deal. Just more of a hassle than anything. If we dont wrap them I was thinking of getting pretty gift bags. Any IdeaS?

How is everyone presenting their favor?

Re: Gift Wrapping Services for Favors

  • That's what our bridesmaids are for. lol.
My friends usually make a girl's night out of it.  Order takeout, some wine, and have the bridesmaids come over and help wrap the favors (and anything else that needs to be done, like maybe write out the escort card, put the programs together, etc).  That's what we're doing (well I only have my MOH and a junior bridesmaid, so it'll be us and one or two more of my friends and probably my mom).
We bought pretty favor boxes to present them in, and we are either attaching the escort cards to them, or putting them at each place setting.

  • We did jordan almonds in mini take-out boxes.  Whatever you decide, if you are in Northern NJ, check out G&G Distributors - it's a wholesale floral place that has tons of good stuff at crazy-cheap prices.  It's in Saddle Brook:

  • This is what a DOC/planner is for. Do you have one? They will help you for a small fee on top of their DOC i am sure.
  • We're just doing ribbons so it shouldn't be that big a deal.

I guess I'm thinking of it with the holidays in mind, but might there not be some charity based wrapping services?
  • My mom and I just did it ourselves, it really wasn't that complicated, just a little plastic baggy, a piece of ribbon, and a tag.  Done.

  • Christin - those boxes are really pretty. Where did you get them?

  • Ours came in plain white boxes. The groomsman, my BIL and my dad spent a morning putting labels on them. I wish I had gotten a pic. LOL
  • How about muslin drawstring pouches?

Thanks :) I didn't get those exact ones because everywhere I looked online they were too expensive, but I got the David Tutera ones from Joann's (picture below - almost exactly the same).  With a 40% off coupon I got 120 of them for $48 (so around $0.40 each).  They were my very first wedding purchase. lol
