too dark and small for my taste, but the food (I heard) is great. Check out the atrium, we are getting married there, the food and the service are amazing! the lighting and big windows... zero pressure from the banquet manager! I was in between both as well but picked the Atrium, good luck!

We visited there...price was great.  I actually really liked it, however, there was no outdoor space for a ceremony and FI felt the cocktail room might be a little to small for our party.

We looked there. I've been told that the food is great, but when we went to visit I really wasn't too impressed. It was way to white for me! I felt like I would blend right in with the walls and that it was just too small for our guests. Also, we didn't like that there wasn't an outside area for the ceremony/cocktail area. We chose The Manor. Good luck!

I went to a wedding there. Really liked the cocktail hour and the food. The look of the room doesn't matter as much as you think it does. Once they turn the lights down, you can't see much of anything no matter where you go.

    Welcome and congrats!

I've never been to Richfield Regency before, but my parents and grandparents have.  They didn't say much about it, but I remember my mom saying something to the effect that there were too many stairs up to cocktail hour or something so it was difficult for my grandparents and some of the other older relatives to get up.

We also looked there and liked it except I really wanted windows wherever I had my reception. They had tons of food choices and made a big deal about their Viennese hour. I too felt that the downstairs cocktail hour would be too small but they did have 2 rooms that you could flow between.

I forgot.. my colleagues daughter had her wedding there a few years ago and raved.  The stairs are only for the downstairs (bigger room)

I am actually having my wedding at the Richfield Regency next april.  The amount of food you are getting for your money is really amazing.  Trish is an amazing person to deal with and is willing to accomodate any type of food you would like to have at your wedding.

I have only heard great things about this place, from all vendors etc... I guess I cant give an exact review until i experience my wedding, but thus far I have no complaints.

    Good Luck!

Thanks so much ladies for all the replies...
Fi and I put a deposit for it a week ago cause we fell in love with it after being disappointed in a few other places.  We are only having 100 guests so the room cocktail hour shouldn't be too crowded. The ballroom that we're gonna have is the one on the main level so the only stairs that we have to worry about is the main ones coming in... I was a little nervous about not having a big area for pix outside but the park across the street will be perfect.

We're considering the RR for our daughter's wedding next June. I do have a couple of concerns; is there an elevator between floors, and is that dance floor marble or tile? We need a wooden floor for aging hips and feet (not the daughter)! It does look lovely...
    thanks,
    Joanna

I am getting married there this September.
I am pretty sure there is a handicap elevator but I can't remember, and the dance floor is marble.

Sfenell may know for sure...she is getting married there in August.
