Cards & Pockets - Printing?

Hi All!

Has anyone used cards and pockets for printing?  I had a graphic designer create something for me and without a paper sale, buying the paper & going to a printer seems to be adding up quickly.

Has anyone used c&p for printing and can you give me an estimate of how much it was per invite??  Where you happy with the service?

Thanks!!!!

I was extremely happy with printing from there. I had 1 main invite and 4 inserts and I believe it was around $200 for 70 copies of each. I had some additional charges though though like full bleed files (all of my designs went all the way to the edge) and a double sided insert which upped the price a bit in my case.

They were great, prompt and efficient service.  You can order a proof set to make sure you will like the finished product.  Our cost was about $400 for 100 invitations, which included the invite, 4 layered inserts (2 double-sided), 2x2 monograms, card pockets, invitation mats, monogram mats, and envelopes for the RSVP cards and the invitations.

I used them and I was overall happy with them. There were a few things I wasn't happy about, and I emailed them about it and they immediately sent me out new ones corrected. I would def. use them again. I designed my invites myself, and people LOVED them and told me I should start my own business. One word of advice, I also made custom menus and placecards and to save money I didn't have them cut them down to size - I figured I would do that. That was a very bad idea - I had no time right before the wedding and it was really stressful for me to do them myself. Next time, I'd pay to have them cut down. I had the invites printed and cut to size and they were perfect. I think my invites were around $3 each (I had the pockefold, 4 inserts, matting for the invite, ribbon bellyband, and 2x2 monograms with matting, and I added crystals from Michael's to the invite as well. I am really glad I did them myself and I know I saved THOUSANDS of dollars. Good luck!

    Hi All,

Thanks so much!  That is so affordable and the best part, they do everything for you!! I'm not a crafty person and I feel like this is so easy, plus it saves so much time and money!!

Thanks for the advice cutiepie!  I was actually planning on making layered programs, but the more  I thought about it, the more people say it's too crazy close to the wedding...i'm definitely going to spend the few extra dollars and have someone print them, if I'm saving so much on invites, why not! lol

I also designed my own invites and had them printed and cut through C&P.  I am beyond thrilled with how they came out and their customer service is outstanding.  I highly recommend getting the proof before you order the final print, as well (mine needed a small correction that would have really upset me had I not caught it in the proof).  I ordered 125 invites along with RSVPs and an enclosure card.  I got the standard snow white cardstock and it came to $178.  In total, with the pocketfolds, envelopes, and other paper supplies, my invites cost me less than $400.  Other companies were quoting me upwards of $1500 for the pocketfolds I wanted... insane!!!

Moral of the story... I LOVE CARDS & POCKETS!  :)

I too had my invites printed thru Cards & Pockets.  So far they have been the best vendor I have worked with.  They are responsive and helpful.  I had my samples in days and all of my invitations in approx the same amount of time.  I am thrilled with how everything came out and I would absolutely recommend them.

If you already have the design you should try printing them your self first.

My friend had hers created by an invite place and they were $1,500.. I'm estimating mine to be way less.  I'm happy with everyone's reviews, I really cannot wait to find out all the info on printing with them, I'm going to call soon!
