I truly dont think it matters.  You will look so beautiful that everyone will be looking at you. My MOH and I had similar style, sweetheart with rouching and no one noticed a thing.

If you want to, go for it, if not, don't.  My bm dresses looked nothing like mine.

Trust me, no one will notice. When I was a BM, the bride purposely chose the dress because it had similar ruching in the bodice. Not one person noticed. No one is looking at them, they're looking at you. When they do look at them, they certainly won't be looking for dress similarities.

My BM's both have different dresses in different colors that don't 'match' my dress. It will still look lovely.

I don't think it will take away from you.  Most people don't notice that type of subtle thing....unless they are brides-to-be themselves!  And I personally think both dresses are very pretty!

The dresses can be whatever YOU want.. there is nothing they should or shouldn't be. That being said, it is personal preference - I personally do not like when the style of a bridesmaid dress is similar to the bride. I feel that the style of the bride's dress should stand out, and I wouldn't want everybody else in a similar style dress as me. And yes, people will notice it - I've noticed it at weddings I've attended, and so have other guests/friends that commented to me about it.

I don't think there is anything that can take away from a wedding dress :)
