My Photo Creations

Anyone ever hear of them?

They seem like a great option for a "professional" consumer-based album and are owned by DigiLabs which is a professional lab. I've read some great reviews of them but no first hand experience. Thoughts?

This album cannot touch some of the higher end albums out there that only sell to photographers.  However, it's probably "good enough" for those that don't want to spend a lot for a high end album.

Companies like these are the reason why pro photogs are going to start charging like $3000 for a disc of high res images.  LOL

Do you mind introducing yourself? It seems that you are a vendor based on your 2015 wedding date.

Perhaps I just put 2015 because I want to remain anonymous on these boards.  Is that against forum rules?  I love how everyone is accused of being a vendor because they wish not to share their personal stories.  I'm not a vendor and you won't see me plugging any vendor's services here.  I'm here to read and learn and plan, just like everyone else - albeit without sharing intimate personal knowledge of who I am.

Sorry if anyone finds that offensive.

It's hard to tell the quality from their website.  I agree that it looks much nicer than some of the thing's I've heard others talk about from Blurb, Mpix, etc.

That said, for me, my photographer offers a couple of different album lines.  This pricing is no better than what he offers for his lower priced albums which I'm guessing are still quite a bit nicer.  And his higher end albums are clearly nicer without being all that much more expensive.

Ultimately, they wouldn't make sense for us because I'm happy about the albums and prices our photographer offers, but for anyone who's working with a photographer that charges $3k for an album, I can see where this would be an alternative.  Especially maybe for parent albums.

I think they look pretty nice. For sure better quality than a shutterfly album, and it seems to have the same thickness of pages that you'd get from a photographer. I think this company might be the happy medium you are looking for!
