I want to dedicate a song to my mom at the wedding- ideas?

I wanted to walk down the isle w/ both my parents- but my mom & I are afraid it would upset my dad.So instead Id like to dedicate a song to my mom at the reception so we have a moment together, just like I will have w/ my dad- any ideas? It can be upbeat or slow- prob upbeat is better since I doubt we'd slow dance together, but any ideas would be great. Oh my mom is a big Michael Buble (Im sure I spelt that wrong) fan if that helps!

Nothing like waiting til the last minute :) Thanks for the help!

    Carrie Underwood's- Mama's Song.

    Mama's Song Lyrics

Mama you taught me to do the right things
So now you have to let your baby fly
You've given me everything that I will need
To make it through this crazy thing called life
And I know you watch me grow up and always want whats best for me
And I think I found the answer to your prayers

And he is good, so good
He treats your little girl like a real man should
He is good, so good, he makes promises he keeps
    No he's never gonna leave
So dont you worry about me
    Dont you worry about me

Mama theres no way you'll ever lose me
And giving me away is not goodbye
As you watch me walk down to my future, I hope tears of joy are in your eyes

Cuz he is good, so good
He treats your little girl like a real man should
He is good, so good, he makes promises he keeps
    No he's never gonna leave
So dont you worry about me
    Dont you worry about me

And when I watch my little baby grow I'll only want whats best for her
And I hope she'll find the answer to my prayers
    And that she'll say

    He is good, so good
He treats your little girl like a real man should
He is good, so good, he makes promises he keeps
    No he's never gonna leave
So dont you worry about me
    Dont you worry about me

Mama dont you worry about me

    Dont you worry about me

That's funny, because in Jewish tradition both parents walk you down the aisle.  Before I knew this, I mentioned only having my dad walk me, my mom got upset!

But dedicating a song to her is a lovely idea.

I danced to Somebody's Hero by Jamie O'Neal with my mom. It was upbeat, fun and easy to dance to with her and the lyrics couldn't have been more perfect for us! It was a great way to honor my mom at the reception!!!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_uMQTw7v2g

She's never pulled anyone from a burning building
She's never rocked Central Park to a half a million fans, screaming out her name
She's never hit a shot to win the game
She's never left her footprints on the moon
She's never made a solo hot air balloon ride, around the world,
No, she's just your everyday average girl (but)

    She's somebody's hero
A hero to her baby with a skinned up knee
A little kiss is all she needs
    The keeper of the cheerios
The voice that brings Snow White to life
    Bedtime stories every night
And that smile lets her know
    She's somebody's hero

She didn't get a check every week like a nine-to fiver
But she's been a waiter, and a cook and a taxi driver
For twenty years, there at home, until the day her girl was grown
Giving all her love to her was her life's ambition
But now her baby's movin' on, and she'll soon be missin' her
But not today, those are tears of joy runnin' down her face

    She's somebody's hero
A hero to her daughter in her wedding dress
She gave her wings to leave the nest
It hurts to let her baby go down the aisle she walks right by
Looks back into her mother's eyes
And that smile lets her know oh oh oh
    She's somebody's hero

(we cut the song for our dance after that verse which is about 2 minutes in)

How about Michael Buble's "How Sweet it is"?  It's on his "It's Time" album.

It's such a feel good, swinging version that I think it might work in that situation.  Especially if you have the DJ invite everyone else to join you on the dance floor after you have a special moment with your mom.

I love the upbeat song idea.  I'm also planning to dedicate a song to my mom, and I was leaning toward "In My Daughter's Eyes", but I think we might both end up weeping.
