Help! I need a Photographer Review...

I am considering using dpstudio Ting Yi photography
www.tingyistudio.com for my wedding... has anyone used them? Good experiences? Bad experiences? Let me know!

I haven't heard of them.  It looks like they get glowing reviews on weddingwire.com though.

I don't have experience with them but took a look at their site.  I think they're okay but not particularly interesting or exciting (you need a third voting option).

Their work was decent, but not especially creative and I didn't see anything that looked stunning.  At the same time, they're under $2k so pretty inexpensive.  My only concern would be how small their portfolio was; it might suggest that they're very new and inexperienced.

So if you're just looking for someone to come, record the day, get the group shots and not screw it up, they look like a fine choice.  If you're aspiring for more artistic and creative work, I think there are much better choices out there at similar prices.

I would never use them simply because they blast me with emails that I never requested. Gmails gotten smart and sends them directly to spam now.

OMG, cut it out. Everytime a bride who doesn't post every two seconds asks a question somebody has to accuse them of being a vendor. It's so annoying!
Some people just want to come on here and ask a question. They might not feeling like giving every detail of their wedding.
