Help!! Need venue for outside tent reception

Ive been looking everywhere in north NJ area for a venue that will hold our reception in a tent. So far ive only been able to find venues in the NY-westchester area which is too far for me. In NJ i found crossed keys inn, which is also about an hour away. The problem is most of my family is coming from long island so i want to keep it as close to my house as possible. If anyone can recommend a country club or caterers that work with reception sites that can set up tents Please please help!!

It's not a tent but Rutgers Gardens in New Brunswick has a pavilion (roof without walls) and they do weddings. The preferred caterer starts at $80/pp but you can bring in your own caterer for a an additional few $ per person. The gardens are really pretty too. GL!

Royce Brook CC in hillsbourough has a tented reception , I believe Nashanic CC will put up a tent too

I'm pretty sure Rutgers Gardens has a tent set up as well ... Someone on this board had her reception there in October. I believe Park Avenue Club and Hamilton Farm Golf Club have permanent tents, but you'd have to join them as a member to have an event there.

I second Roycebrook... I'm getting married there and their tent is beautiful. Its in Hillsborough, about 45 min drive from me in Staten Island. Go on their website - they have loads of pics!

I'm having my reception at The Knoll Country Club in Parsippany and the cocktail hour (I extended mine to 1 1/2hr) is in a tent and the reception is inside.  Perhaps they can work with you and somehow just have everything outside?  They do have their own caterer but it's also very reasonable, especially for what you are getting.

I'm getting married at Neshanic Valley Golf Course and they will tent the outside space. The views are gorgeous!

Try the Oakeside Mansion in Bloomfield, NJ. It's really pretty and they do tent receptions.
