Question about the processional...

Did you have (or are you going to have) your mom, FMIL, FFIL, and/or readers walk down the aisle as part of your processional?  Or did they just take their seats on their own before the ceremony got started?

Going to have grandma's come first (this will give a cue to the photographer/videographer that it is starting and they won't miss the moms coming down the aisle)  My mom, step-mom and FMIL will be coming down the aisle before my bridesmaids.  After they are seats, two groomsmen will pull the runner down the aisle and the flower girls, BMs and me and my dad will walk down.

    Readers will be seated already.

    HTH!

Ohhhh grandparents!  Ughh... that might be a sticky situation for us.  FI and I have no living grandparents except for his grandfather who I can't stand.  He has this weird and very senile sense of humor... in fact, a couple weeks ago he thought it was HILARIOUS when he told me that I looked prettier back when FI and I first met and that he couldn't understand what happened to me and that I should work on it.  Mind you, everyone looked like wet dogs since we were sitting outside in 90-plus degree weather with the sun roasting us.  Perhaps it was the heat, but I missed the humor in that one, haha.  Fi's grandfather, on the other hand, thought he was a genius for coming up with such a hysterical "joke" and proceeded to share it with everyone at the table.

Perhaps we'll just have him sit down with everyone else before the processional starts... Tongue out

My processional will be as follows:

FSILs - if we have readers, it will be our FSILs - we haven't decided yet.  But we want to involve them in our ceremony since we love them and they will be in our family. (Our little brothers got engaged after we did and they aren't in my bridal party)

FI's uncle is escorting his mother (FI's grandmother)

    FI's parents

    BMs escorted by GMs

MOH with ring bearer, who is her son (since he'll be 2.5, he gets to walk with his mommy!)

Me with my both of my parents

We're having our mom's escorted down the aisle before the actual processional begins.  Readers will already be seated.

my grandfather was there waay early, and i didn't expect to have him walk down the aisle....gramma was home (she was really sick) so therefore he would have been the only grandparent....
our precessional was, fil & mil, my bil and my mom, bridesmaids, moh, then the 2 groomsmen pulled out the aisle runner and then my rb and fg walked out
and then me and my dad!
our readers were my bil and mh's cousin...i asked my bil to walk down my mom, so yeah one of our readers was in the processional, but only b/c i wanted him to be with my mom...mh's cousin was already seated with the regular guests

    Ours went like this:
My maternal grandmother escorted by mom's brother
My paternal grandmother escorted by her son-in-law
MIL escorted by her brother (FIL passed away)
My mom escorted by her brother (he did double duty)
    My Bridesmaids
    Me and my dad

We didn't have DH's Paternal uncle or my paternal aunt walk down the asile but they were readers/bringing up the gifts. We did not have our other readers walk down the asile either.
