return address for invitations

I just saw below about a post about who's address to put on the RSVP cards if the parents are paying.  I'm glad that was posted bc I was wondering the same thing!

Now my question is, if your parents are paying for the wedding, who's return address do you put on the invitation envelope?  I'm assuming since my parents are paying for it, their address should be used.  However I'm afraid that some of the guests on my FI's sinde of the family will not reconize their address and maybe not open it?  Should I put my Fi and I's address on there instead?   I dunno.  What did you do?

I used my address, because I thought it should match the address on my RSVP envelopes.

Same. Plus I didn't want my mom to have to deal with invites possibly coming back to her for some reason.

I can't imagine anyone is going to throw away a wedding invitation or not open it - you can tell when something is junk mail and when something is a card/invitation/something someone clearly put together. I would use whatever address you are putting on the RSVP envelope.
