    AE's are so creepy to me.  It's like say what you feel from your own name.  It is the internet, we don't know your full name or where you live.

    I used to have one a while back, when the knot used to go haywire and you couldn't post under your actual screen name. Once or twice I used it to ask a question that would've followed me around had I posted it under my real screen name (like some family problems, for instance).

    I remember a long while back on the Bridal Party board, where a girl posted something that made her seem like a total biitch to her friends, and every regular poster was telling her such.

    Then someone posted saying, "OP, I *totally* agree with you, you are 100% right and all these other girls are just jealous of you. Do what you want, it's Your Special Day! blah blah blah."

    Turned out that it was the OP. Apparently she'd created an AE so that she could get *someone* to agree with her cunnty behavior, except she was too dumb to sign out of her original screen name and sign in to the AE. So it was essentially a post by BiitchyPrincess123, with a reply from BiitchyPrincess123 :P

    I always remember this when I post over there, because whenever a girl is posting something and getting flamed by everyone with common sense, it always seems like some random poster with about 2 total posts is the only one to jump in and defend her, lol.

    An ocassional one is funny, but I remember at one point in the "old days" they got out of hand... and when it turned out a regular knottie was using an AE to bash other regular knotties I just thought that crossed a line.

    Actually - most of us used to know each other's full name and where they lived... do they even have knottie GTGs any more? That being said, I agree with you on people saying what they feel they need to say from their own name.

    Good point, some of us are FB friends with each other.  OK, I would edit to say that AE's still creep me out... talk from your own name!

    I'm confused. Does this mean you are an AE? Becuase you only have like 70 posts from that name so how would you be on the board a long time unless you just usually don't comment.

    I can't think of a knottie who posts here often who has two children, aged 3 and 6, is having a small second wedding, is an executive at a major finance company, and can't string words together. 

    If the whole springbride persona is MUD, why have you been posting for several months?  Also, if you're MUD, it is silly to make it seem like a big deal that we talk to you every day but then you posted yesterday as a completely different, annoying personality.  Any of us could do that, who cares?

    Also, if this is MUD why would you go crying to the second weddings board about us being mean to you?

    I have an AE that was never used, an obvious one, when I was accidently banned for 3 days, Brooke gave me the idea of the name, Cheryl with a vengence :)

    At that time they had a 3 day rule to be able to post so I couldn't post

    Fair enough springbride.  When I was applying to law school, I used to post on a law school admissions board, but because there were some really vicious and bored people there, I changed information about my hometown, first name, and undergrad school so people couldn't figure out who I was (I'm sure if I had put real info for any of these, they would have found me in my law school facebook and would have posted pictures and anything else they could dig up -- they've done that to others with lots of lies about STDs and such, which then showed up when potential employers would google their names.  Very vicious place).  I didn't change details to fool anyone, I did it to protect myself.

    But here, I think it is a little different.  I could probably tell you the full names of 50+ posters here. I'm sure many know my full name, and it wouldn't be hard for others to figure it out (which is why the paranoid part of me doesn't have a siggy picture or bio anymore).  But while this board is a lot less anonymous than most, it is also a lot safer.

    I think I'm kind of late here- but what was the point of building everything up yesterday if you are admitting today you're an AE? Not much build up if you ask me...

    And you were giving Tiff a hard time for posting on her 1 year anniversary, meanwhile you presumably are getting married or are married if you've been here a year and everyone loves you... shouldn't we all feel bad for your FI/ H? Pretty cowardly...

    I don't usually jump into these MUD convos but this is just ridiculous.

    talk about having a lot of free time on your hands...you posted quite a bit on other boards in the last few months.   I wish I had that kind of free time to post for months just for one day of drama!!

    Just out of curiousity.....Why hide behind an AE...if you want to cause drama, at least be yourself!

    If you were this great Knottie who decided to create and AE, you would just tell us what your "real" knottie name was rather than pull the line you just did.

    I think you need psychiatric evaluation if this is all true and you are spending time posting MUD as an AE even on the second weddings board.

    I think this is all MUD too.....I don't get why someone would spend all that time posting on other boards as well.    I don't think that any perfectly sane individual would do such a thing!    At least we had some excitement on the board the last few days...LOL

    Wow, your super smart too!  None of the rest of us would have been able to figure out how to be so sneaky!

    Why were you posting today on the second weddings board about sand ceremony and including you're 2 boys today?  And if you were posting just to build up hype, why did you post on all sorts of different boards (like Budget, and Hudson Valley, and Attire & Accessories)?  I wouldn't pat yourself on the back that much for this one.
