Invitation question - just want to make sure...

Our ceremony and reception are going to be at the same venue, so I would imagine we don't need any type of additional reception card/insert to go along with our invitations.  If people don't see a reception card, will they correctly assume that both parts of our wedding will be in the same place?

Is there a way to indicate, on the invitation itself, that they'll both be in the same place?  For instance, instead of putting "Reception to follow," is there better wording to use to indicate that the reception will occur at the same venue?

Reception immediately following

If you will have ceremony programs, you can print something like, "Please proceed into the Manchester Room next door for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres following the ceremony."

Plus I assume that your venue probably has a staff member that will probably direct your guests to the cocktail hour area once the ceremony is finished.

We had the ceremony and reception in the same place.  The address on the invitation is that of your venue, as opposed to the church if you were getting married in a church.  We then put Reception immediatly following on the bottom of the invitaton.

After the ceremony, the venue had people directing people to the cocktail hour area.

Nobody had any problems figuring it out.

Ours is also at the same place and I made a seperate reception card that says, "Please join us for a cocktail and dinner reception immediately following the ceremony" and then wrote out the address below - just to make it very clear. haha

our invite just said "reception to follow" at the end and we included a direction card to the venue
