locally grown foods...

does anyone know where i can get locally grown meat & poultry??   Im in somerset county.

    This isn't for meat, but for fruits and veggies FI and I have been wanting to join a CSA. They sound awesome and I've heard great things but we haven't made the plunge yet:

    There's a farmer's/amish market in Princeton on Route 27 that has produce and meat but I cannot guarantee it's locally grown, it's just sold by the Amish.

    Oh I've wanted to do a CSA forever now- I just never take the plunge. I know people who have done it and love it!

    nessi - Also, there's a buffalo farm down the road from my parents' house in Readington.  They sell all sorts of buffalo meat products which I believe come from their own animals in case you're interested.
