Re: Wedding Favors..??

  • We donated to two charities close to our hearts and framed notes from the charities thanking our guests for their support.

My sister recently got married and she made rosemary/olive oil favors in cute little jars.

  • We gave coasters that said Love on them.  We didn't want anything personalized so this was perfect!  I ordered them online but I forget the site.  I just searched and went with the best price I could find.  Good Luck!
  • My sister did glass heart wine stoppers.. they were sooo adorable.  Whenever at our families' houses it's so nice seeing them still using them!
  • In Response to Re:Wedding Favors..??:
I think edible favors are the best. People enjoy them, and then they are gone, no trinkets cluttering up people's homes. We gave little bottles of maple syrup with personalized labels. Posted by Liatris2010
This! I have decided to go the edible route after talking to many people. Almost everyone said they hated trinkets from weddings and would throw them away after time passed.

  • I agree that edible favors are the way to go.  Nobody needs any more junk in their house. I'm thinking about little jars of jam.
  • I wanted to do something edible but not the typical cookie or chocolate.  We did olive oil & vinegar sets from Carter & Cavero and they were a huge hit with our family and friends.  We gave one set per couple/single person.  C&C was great to work with- we did 2 different flavor sets and they created the labels and wrapped them beautifully for us.  Below is a pic of what our favor looked like.

  • Go with edible.  We did chocolates.  Not one was left behind on the table.

My sister did chocolate covered caramel apples from so-applicious.com 862-400-0893 they were a hit and they were tied with beautiful ribbons so it looked like a big bouquet. A bit pricey, but I plan to do the same for my wedding. People loved them!

  • We did edible as well. I wanted to incorporate Jordan almonds somewhere so we put them in bags inside of a takeout box tied with a ribbon. We included the poem along with a thank you note.

Love this! Very unique and something I'd actually use.
  • We did edible as well and did Crumbs cupcakes (1 per person).  We picked about 5 different flavors, made custom labels on Vistaprint and had Crumbs pack them up in clear boxes for us.  They put the labels we provided on, and delivered right to the venue.
