I broke the mold...

and actually picked a re-wearable bridesmaid dress!

When the heck does this happen? Everyone swears their dress is re-wearable and it never is.

Well one of my BM's just facebooked me to say she was wearing the dress again :)

Just thought I'd show off for a minute since I haven't had a chance to be an AW in awhile Tongue out

Wahoo- my BMs keep saying how they are going to rewear theirs after the wedding... we'll see if they do.

Tiff- where did you get your stamps for your invites?

my one bm said she was going to wear the dress to another friends wedding, then she realized that their wedding was before mine, so..........that wasn't going to work....

and my sister almost wore it to a wedding we went to after my wedding, and i think she should have, only 4 people (not incl my fam) were going to be there......but she didn't...my mom wore her mob dress to that wedding though (it was black tie)...i almost wore my sister's bm dress from my wedding, but, she's shorter than me.....

Three out of five bridesmaids have worn mine again (and the other two swore they would have, but haven't had a chance).  Dress was:

Your dress is definitely more rewearable than mine (it's short).

I was just joking around anyway.  When we went shopping the girls were all like, "We could wear this again," and I'm thinking in the back of my mind (riiight, like you're ever going to want to wear this again).

    Yes I did use zazzle.

Ohh those dresses are pretty and re wearable!

I'm gonna be honest and say--  although I like the ones I picked...I do NOT foresee my girls re wearing haha. Sorry :(  lol

*I* would totally wear my bridesmaid dress to another function, but I'm not sure my girls share my same style =) My sis, who's in the pic below, is not so into the "sparkles" ;-)

I have one BM I had shortened and wear often. I know it makes the bride hapy every time I tell her that =)

    <div>They were Thread.</div><div>
</div><div>I've been lucky too -- I have two bridesmaid dresses in my closet that I could totally wear again.  One I'm holding off on because it is pastel so I feel that I can't wear it to a wedding (because in that context it would look bridesmaidy) and I don't go to many other dressy events.  The other is a navy J. Crew dress, so I think it is very wearable.</div>

I don't have BMs, but I did pick a wedding dress that I can wear again (I have two of them and the ceremony dress is really casual)  It doesn't look like a wedding dress and I would probably only wear it on like my anniversary to a nice dinner or something.  But I am pretty excited about it.

I wish I could, I haven't been able to find a picture of it online, and for some reason I never took one when i try it on/bought it.  I should be getting it in, in the next week or so and I will post a picture then. Sorry.

Funny story: I didn't take pictures because that is how I found out I was getting engaged.  I was out with my FI and he went to take a picture of me with his phone and it didn't come out right so he deleted it and up popped the picture of the ring(I guess it was the last picture he took with his phone) Anyway, I was shocked! I didn't get a good look at it but of course I knew what it was.  He proposed to me then.  We were at a bar, there to see a local reggae band that we love, so it was loud.  We went outside so I could hear how he got the ring and everything.  He felt so bad he didn't have the ring on him but I didn't care.  He then proposed to me again outside! The band we were there to see is going to play our cocktail hour.  it just seemed fitting.  So now that I have told you my long story, I was afraid to take pictures, in case he saw them....haha
But I will post one when I get it, because I am sure he is NOT on TK...haha
