ev4149 - question

I just saw a review you had about Jay West Bridal - that's where I got my dress from too.  I was just wondering, if you don't mind me asking what alterations cost?  I was planning on going down to pick up my dress and bring it to a seamstress closer to where I live (Matwan area) because it is a bit of a haul down to the store.  I just wanted your thoughts about having to make the trip to have the alterations (I'm also not sure where you're located or how far of a drive it was for you).

I appreciate it.  I just sent a post instead of PM because I thought you may be more likely to see it.

No problem!  I paid $295 for alterations, and I worked with Kay.  She did a LOT of work on my dress - I lost about 2 dress sizes since I bought the dress, so there was a lot of taking off and reattaching beadwork.   She also did a bustle for me.

I live in Philadelphia (got married by Freehold), so it was about 20 minutes away for me.  They have late hours, which is nice, if you can get there during the week.   They also do alterations on Saturdays.  It wasn't that far for me, so it wasn't a huge deal.  But it was worth it to me that they do it in store, because if there was a problem, the store would fix it.
