Cards & Pockets - DIY Pocketfold Invites

Did anyone use C&P for their DIY pocketfolds? I had them print my invites and now it's time for me to start gluing them all together - but I keep putting it off and really dreading it. When I received the invites they were kind of slightly curled/curved up on the sides. I've had them sitting in a box for a few months with a bunch of stuff piled on top thinking that would flatten them out. Not so much... I did a sample and glued one invite to the invitation mat (which layed completely flat by itself), layed it to dry under a ton of books on the counter - and when I took it out it is still curling up. I'm hoping once I glue it to the actual pocketfold it won't be that big of a deal or noticeable since the pocketfold does have a slight curve to it anyway - but I'm wondering what kind of glue everyone else used and what type of experience you had with the invite developing a slight curl/curve to it. The invite is fully glued to the mat and I don't forsee it coming apart, but I'm just scared that when I glue it to the pocketfold it may not be glued as well as I'd like it to. The idea of double sided tape worries me for that reason - I think it may pull apart. Right now I am using a paper craft liquid glue and I think I'm going to have to stick to that or possibly try cement glue (not sure if that will pull apart as well though).

Misschristinec did but she's on her honeymoon - I'm sure she'll be happy to answer everything when she's back!

I made our panel-style invites from C&P and used double sided tape (from Michael's, not the Scotch kind) and it worked perfectly and never peeled up or curved.

I did also. I noticed a slight curl in mine also. Wasn't too evident once I glued to the mat but I didn't see it at all when I glued to the pocketfold.

I used glue dots. I believe Elmer's brand. I used 6 per invite.
3 on bottom, 3 on top.

It worke dout wonderfully. I know some people, like WAGNERDI I think used rubber cement. And she said worked well also.

I'm going to be using cards & pockets and have emailed back and forth with Kaley there.  They have amazing customer service- try shooting them an email to see what they'd recommend.  They've been more than happy to answer all of my questions so far.

Hi! That stinks about your invites...I ordered my pocketfolds printed from them, and it seemed like there was a slight (and very slight) curl in them when I first got them, seemed like they packaged them too tight, but after laying them under a stack of books for like a day they were totally straight.
We used rubber cement to mount the invites to the mats. We had them mount the mats to the pocketfold, which in retrospect probably wasn't worth the extra money, it was so easy to mount the invites.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you ladies! I actually bought one of those double sided permanent adhesive sticks at AC Moore, tested it out this weekend and it worked great! It was very easy and quick to do. This morning I looked at it and it was still laying flat with no curl at all - I am super happy! =)
