Hi, I just got engaged on Saturday.   I am interested in any reception venue recommendations in Union Co., Morris Co. or Somerset Co.  Thanks!!!!

If you could share a little more it will be easier for the ladies to help you. Are you having your ceremony on site? Indoors/outdoors? Is there a season/month you are looking at. What is the rate you want to spend per person (is that with/without gratuities)? How many guests? Do you care which day of the week? Friday/Sat/Sun?

If you get married in the off season (Approx Dec-March) or on a Sunday some places will be more lax with guest count and price.

Thanks~my ceremony will be in a church, so I'm looking for reception site only.  We are shooting for next October but our full range is late August thru late October/early November.  Approx. 125 people and I am hoping for $90.00 and under per person.  I know Fridays & Sundays will help lower the price.  Thanks for any recs!

If you're willing to expand to Sussex Co my sister had her wedding at Perona Farms, you could probably work with them and get into your price range (maybe not on a Saturday night though), it's really beautiful and the food was great.

Try the Primavera Regency in Stirling.

I'm getting married at the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge - it's PERFECT!  It's very understated, gorgeous, and intimate, exactly what I was looking for...none of that gaudy jersey reception hall crap!  But Sept-Oct is prime wedding season now so idk if you're gonna find much that's decent for $90pp.  If you do it in the Winter or Spring, even Summer at some places, you can probably get much better rates.  David's Country Inn in Hackettstown in cute, and a good size for your party.  It needs some updating.  It was my plan B if we needed to cut costs.

I second Perona Farms! I'm getting married there next August and it's in your price range and so far they have been really great to work with!

Congrats! Primavera for $90? That doesnt sound right. Steve is a nice guy. Id say in that range Bretton Woods Mansion or Berkeley Plaza, Gran Centurians, La Affaire ,The Westwood or Galloping Hill Inn. They are all in and around Union County.   I highly rec. The Grand Summit Hotel, my venue but its not $90. Best of luck in your search!
