Rehearsal Dinner Venue

Hey Gals,
Hope all is well -- I was out of the country for a few weeks and now everything is FLYING by.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for rehearsal dinner venues in the Summit/Chatham/Short Hills/Union area.  Originally, I wanted to have it at Huntley Taverne but I'm bracing myself for the cost -- I think I want to stay somewhere under $1500 for 30 people.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Catalina

We had ours at the Spanish Pavillion in Harrison right off of 280. They have a package for like 18pp and it includes Sangria, domestic beer, house wine and soda. You can pick 6 things for a buffet. It was so worth it and everyone thought the food was awesome. I want to say we had about 32 people and paid well under $1000. Good Luck!

    You could try:

    Winberies (Summit)
Marco Polo (Summit) has upstairs rooms for private parties and ample off street parking.

Chatham has a bunch of BYOB restaurants along Main St....should be less $$ than restaurants w/ liquor license

We are having ours at Brix 67 in Summit - I love the atmosphere there - check it out. They will reserve the front room for you and will open the doors if it's nice. And guests can order right off the menu. They only have wine though if that matters to you.
