Infants?

Do they count as children as far as head count?  They don't need a seat and aren't going to eat or drink, lol.  I know I need to ask my venue... but I'm wondering (and hoping they don't).  Thanks.

Read your contract. Everyone under 10 was free for me.

The contract says children under 12 are half priced after adult minimum is met but it doesn't say anything about infants (like little nursing babies).

I would ask, because it totally varies by venue.  For us, under 2 was free, from 2-12 were something like $15 (andthey got kids' meals instead of the regular meal -- I think if they weren't picky eaters and got adult meals they would have been charged like teenagers), and 13-21 were $60 less than full price (because they got full food but wouldn't be drinking alcohol -- I guess $60 was the alcohol portion of the per person price).

I would ask, but I believe it's either under 2 or 3 are free. But double check because every venue is different.

you'll get the best response from your matre'd - like all pp's - every place is different.

Honestly, if the kid if on the breast they are free. They wont even get a chair.  Dont include them in your headcount.

Thanks, ladies.  I always feel better being prepared when I ask a question.
