Hi: Anyone know how to get them to respond? I emailed via their website contact info and left a message for the Director of Catering. No response. Am I supposed to be a member? Can anyone provide some insight?

You don't have to be a member. Did you e-mail Lisa directly, or did you use the catering inquiry form on the site? I know leading up to my wedding, she told me she didn't receive one of my e-mails, and she thought it could be the spam filter's fault. I'd send her another e-mail, then try calling.

I know this is an older thread, but wondering if you decided to go with Orange Lawn, Joan. I believe the Catering Director has changed since you posted this, but I am having the same issues now. We've actually been in touch with them, and seen the venue (and love it), but communications from John (the director) are very erratic. We can wait 5-10 days for him to respond to an email or call. It took 10 days to receive a contract we were supposed to receive the next day via email. We've tried to set up in person appointment to arrange the contract, but his available time is so limited to and we don't live in NJ (we are in Manhattan), and it takes him too long to respond to communications to arrange anything. We FINALLY have the contract after multiple emails and calls, and are about to sign and send the deposit, but are now concerned that if it's this difficult to work with him before even signing a contract, nothing is going to change once we have one. Has anyone worked with him? How is he to work with down the line? Does he pay attention to details? We'd love to have it hear, but wondering if we'll be kicking ourselves later.
