Need a Sandal's agent! Who went to La Toc St. Lucia?

Hello,

After reading your reviews, we really want to book the La Toc St. Lucia Sandals.

Who used a Sandal's agent? I want the option of someone calling us with an upgrade or special or a person to call when there is a problem..

How did you book your Sandals?

We just went to the Sandals in St. Lucia for our HM in August. We booked about 10 months out through our regular travel agent. Not sure if your a big beach person but I know a lot of people were coming over to the grande from la toc because they were upset there wasn't much of a beach. The shuttle takes 30 minutes.

When we went we found LaToc to be older couples.  Like mostly our parents age.  the other two in St Lucia were more younger.

We went to LaToc and loved it, the beach was big enough for us and didn't mind taking a break by going to the other properties. Most of the couples while we were there, were our age (late twenties), maybe it depends on the time of year.

We booked through Sue at the Honeymoon Expo - was great.

We went to La Toc a few weeks ago on our Honeymoon and the couples were all in their 20s/early 30s. Only a few older couples (I could count them on one hand). We booked at the last minute (2 weeks before we left) on US Airways Vacations website. It is a bargain to go in August and September because it is Hurricane season. We saved big and had great weather. It only rained one of the days we were there (of 7) and the day we left. It was fantastic! You will not spend ANY time in your room! The beach and pool are too beautiful! Even when it rained we still went out- we took the shuttle to the Grande and ate at one of their restaurants and just walked around with drinks in hand. When you arrive at the airport people will offer to take your luggage for you and will want a tip- just politely decline -the walk is super short-its a scam because they aren't affiliated with Sandals (and won't have "change" for your twenty). Don't give your luggage to anyone unless they have a Sandals shirt on. Have fun!
