Bad news to me

Today I found out my father is not coming for my wedding because his wife is pregnant.
My father is in Brazil.  My wedding will be on my 20th.  And their baby is coming on the beginning of June.
My father does not want to travel to the US and leave his wife in her last month of pregnancy.  I understand.  But I still feel sad.

Awwww so sorry! That is a bummer. Is there a way to video conference him in or set up a video chat at least?

That's a bummer.  Does your dad have the internet?  Perhaps you can skype him in.

You mean skype him while we have our wedding reception?
I don't know about video conference, but I think just sound must be really easy. He has internet.  We could do that.
