NWR: Car Detailing recs?

I want to get FI's car detailed for his birthday but not sure where to go. I know of a couple car washes that offer this service but it makes me nervous to go to just a random place.

Anyone ever have this done and any recommendations? If you did have it done, how much did they charge for interior and exterior? I live in Middlesex county but I can travel.

I don't know if West Caldwell is too far for you but the West Caldwell Car Wash does a fabulous job!

I have used Auto Image for my car, in East Brunswick on Route 18.  They do a great job, and I think last time I got a detail done (in March) I got interior & exterior for $150ish?  I don't really remember lol sorry, but their # is 732-254-2727 and you can call them for a quote.  Hope that helps!

I use Xtreme Clean on New Market in South Plainfield, its just off of 287.  I paid $160 for interior & exterior (i had to pay extra for an SUV) and it was amazing.   I dropped it off at 8am, and it was ready at 3pm.   It was sooo clean, and smelled even better.   Ill be using them again.

I've been in the business years ago.  Any name brand place will do a good job cleaning it, but don't expect it to last.  They all use inexpensive bulk packaged products.  Most people never wash their cars much anyway, and they crap them up so never realize when the wax/sealant wears off.  I'd go for the cheapest price you can find for name brand place.  If the car is black though, please go to a decent place, esp if they are polishing it with a wheel.
