NJ Knottie Photographic Calendar (anyone interested?)

I thought of a pretty cool idea, not sure who would be down for it though.

The basic concept would be a wall calendar for 2011.  Each month would have a group photo of the people getting married in that month for 2011 that were interested in participating.  It's too late  to do a season theme for each month, so it would have to be done at say a location that waswedding related....maybe a reception hall, or a popular spot for E photos or wedding photos like Lambert Castle.  Each month would be at a unique location and there is no limit on the number of people that can participate (although the winter months we risk someone getting a solo shoot....ha!).  At the bottom of the photo would be the real name, the screen name, and the wedding date of each person in the group photo.

Each participant would get a copy of the calendar once it was printed.

Anyone interested?  Yay? or LAME?

eh- I don't think it would work. Getting everyone together who has a wedding in a particular month at one location at one time? Not happening. Then, having people on your wall that you just don't know who they are IRL? Creepy (yes, I know people have this all the time, but they are normally celebs or models). Finally, people getting married in a particular month may not even be on here yet, and they may become everyone's favorite person (unlikely), yet aren't on the calendar. Logitstics I just don't see happening. It wouldn't be my thing regardless, but I just wanted to throw those thoughts out there.

If you want to photograph for other things, maybe you could do individual calendars? More like an e-session or something, or either w/the couple or just individuals? We all know you aren't on here to solicit things, just that you like and enjoy and are good at photography...

Thank you for your thoughts.  I was trying to come up with a fun project.  I'm slow in the fall/winter so it's my time to do fun projects and stuff.   I never did a  calendar so thought it would be an interesting experience and a nice opportunity for others too to have something from the experience.

I think it could work with whoever was on here now, and don't all of you meet up anyway at GTG's and kind of know each other IRL?  Or are those a thing of the past?
It would be a set casting date, and whoever could make it comes, but yes it would involve some coordination, and that is part of the fun of the challenge to pull it off.  Of course there needs to be enough willing subjects to make it successful.

Well. I am open to other suggestions.......

What about taking your idea about places and do it that way...gather information around the state that are popular wedding sites and photograph those...put them in the calendar and whoever wants one can order one. Maybe for some money..that can be put towards charity..Like Breast Cancer or...Wish Foundation...??

You really think someone would "buy" something with  pictures of the manor, tides, etc in it?  I don't know....if I wanted to I could probably solicit advertising from interested venues to be part of the project and make a boat load of cash, and give the calendars away.....but that is not what I am looking to do.  I was looking for a fun group project, but there doesn't seem to be enough interest here.  II'm getting busier than expected with HS seniors right now anyway.
