review of my bridesmiads dress shopping experience this past weekend (LONG)

Hi ladies, I wanted to tell you how disappointed my friends (bride) and the other bridesmaids were when we went shopping on Saturday at Jefre Bridal in Greenbrook.  The bride maid and appointment and told them specifically that were were looking to try on the infinity dress (the twist dress) and also that we had a large sized bridesmaid.  They told the bride yes we have that dress, your one bm wont be able to try it on but we have others. Not a huge selection, but others.  We get there, the place is like a mob scene.  After waiting for a few minutes we get helped and are told to pick out what we want to try on and that we have a dressing room in the back mind you there were 5 of us. A little tight and hard for us all to try on.  I pulled the women aside to ask about the large size dress and she said is she bigger than a 14 (um I didnt think 14 was considered large size), if she is we dont have anything for her. but all the dresses come in large size. WHO buys a dress without trying it on. WHATEVER. The BM wasnt all that upset which I was shocked. Here is the funny part, we try the infinity dress on expecting the sales person to show us how we can twist it different ways bla bla.  None of them knew, and told us that we had to use the paper hanging on the hanger to show us and we had to figure it out. REALLY? how do u sell a dress u dont know how to fix.  So all in all the experience was not good, and the bride was very upset. So please be careful when looking there.

Oh those dressing rooms are horrible~ DId you by chance see the millions of pins on the ground where girls would change? I felt so bad with my girls teetering in their flip flops trying to try on dresses. Do you have a pic of the infinity dress?

I'm really sorry to hear that, and that your friend the bride was upset.  I tried on gowns there when I was looking, and I wasn't crazy about the experience.  Years ago I got my 8th grade graduation white gown there, and at the time it was great so my mom really wanted to go back (sentimental value and all that.)  But it was uncomfortably crowded and the saleslady seemed somewhat disinterested, I think she realized it because about halfway through the appointment she totally flipped a switch and started kissing up to me.

I hope the next shopping experience will be more productive and pleasant!
