Milton Gil and/or Dean Michaels Photography feedback

A friend of mine is looking into these 2 photographers.  Anyone have any feedback on them?

    My SIL and BIL used Milton Gil for their wedding and their pictures came out really great. I don't think they got a disk of the proofs though.

    I talked to both and really liked them- they both do great work. With Dean MIchaels, I would find out who exactly will be shooting your wedding. I found with Dean Michaels it was pricey to have a 2nd photographer and rights to your photos. I think with Milton it was the album cost and extra cost for photos on CD that added up.

    We are using Milton Gil. He did my brother's wedding in 2003 as well and I think you do get a good bang for your buck. His photographers are amazing and all are talented. They listen to your style as well if you have ideas as to what photos you want them to take. I totally recommend Milton Gil!

    I went to see both and ended up choosing Dean Michaels. We met with Dean himself and knew we would be having him, and an additional photographer, the day of our wedding. Loved his personality and energy. When we met with Milton Gil, they told us we would have Milton but could not promise we would be able to meet him before our wedding day. Also,  my parents saw DM at another wedding and he went above and beyond to get the right shots. There is no additional charge at Dean Michaels to own the rights to your photographs. So far, it's been a great experience!

    i met with both and i felt more comfortable booking someone who i was actually meeting the photographer and to see the photos they did.. milton gil has a bunch of photographers and who knows who takes the best of best that they show you.. i felt they were too commercial
