Okay, I jumped the gun a little, but I wanted to get my bridal pictures taken on the beach near where my parents live (since fiance didn't want to have the wedding on a beach) and scheduled them way back in January since I wasn't sure what time of year the photographer would be able to catch the sun setting over the water. He said winter so we scheduled the pictures for November. It seemed a long time away but now November is here and the pictures are tomorrow!
I have spent the last two days busting my rear end making this rosette to pin to my dress. I saw it in the bridal shop a month ago when I went for my fitting. Fell in love with it because it appeared to be made out of the same fabric as my dress. But $100 seemed a little steep and I was sure there was a way to make something that would be at least very similar. After much tinkering and shutting fiance out of the room while I worked, this was the result.

PS No offense to any Tampa Bay fans, but as the shoot will be starting near the end of the game, I am hoping for a Saints win tomorrow, to give me something to smile about during my portraits!
Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.
